Therapeutic Modalities
The Bonny Method of Guided Imagery and Music (GIM)
In GIM, music and personal imagery are used to encourage the intentional exploration of emotions,
perceptions, visual and sensory imagery, and somatic responses which can lead to increased self-
awareness and emotional and spiritual growth. Experience with the GIM process allows one to connect
with the wisdom of the body and subconscious mind. This modality can validate feelings, encourage
movement in and through difficult emotions, explore belief systems and core values, release blocks to
creativity, and increase trust in the healing process.

Nature-Informed Therapy (NIT)
Throughout our long evolution, our physiology adapted to being immersed in nature. Research on NIT or
ecotherapy is beginning to uncover the important connections between the natural environment and
our mental and physical health, the security of our attachments, and our ability to create meaning and
experience a sense of awe. Nature works as a co-therapist to bring healing and increase our sense of
belonging to the world around us. This provides a hopeful direction to consider for rebalancing the wild
and domesticated parts of ourselves.
Functional Medicine Health Coaching
Our mental health and physical well-being are only sustainable when they are addressed as if they are
one system, each wholly dependent on the other. Feeling poorly impacts our mood, work, relationships,
decision-making, and motivation. Integrating FM principles can help individuals recognize lifestyle
choices that may impact mental health issues such as anxiety and depression. Increasing self-awareness
about how we treat ourselves and the potential outcomes of the care or lack of care that we accept for
ourselves is a big step in the healing journey.

Ketamine Assisted Psychotherapy (KAP)
KAP is a groundbreaking therapeutic approach that integrates the use of ketamine with psychotherapy to treat conditions like depression, anxiety, PTSD, and trauma. Ketamine opens a window of neuroplasticity in the brain, allowing you to access new perspectives and shift entrenched thought patterns. Combined with therapeutic support, this process can lead to deep healing and sustained emotional growth. KAP is not just about symptom relief but about accessing deeper layers of healing and personal transformation through guided therapeutic integration.

Medical safety and appropriateness of KAP
Dr. Mary Hansen and therapist Jess Talley-Haynes will make sure you receive effective medical and mental health care. We conduct a thorough intake process along with intentional preparation and supportive integration sessions to help you make the most of the window of neuroplasticity that Ketamine may produce for you.

Circles of the Self Psychological Assessment
Circles of the Self is a non-verbal, in-depth, intuitive assessment tool based on mandalas that combines
the sacred geometry of the circle with modern psychology and the life cycle. Used as a projective testing
instrument, the individual’s selection of symbols and colors indicates a diagnostic overview of their
conscious and unconscious process and shows ongoing progress in therapy. This tool is irreplaceable in
adding to understanding an individual’s inner world. This modern application of mandalas in the Circles
of the Self was created by Carol Bush.
