Jessica Talley-Haynes (she/her)
Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC),

Jess is a holistic counselor specializing in the Bonny Method of Guided Imagery & Music (GIM), Nature Therapy (including outdoor and walk & talk sessions), mindfulness-based backpacking experiences, and education on the impacts of food and lifestyle choices on physical and mental health. She works with adults challenged by anxiety, trauma, burnout, depression, chronic health issues, concerns about aging, and managing High Sensory Intelligence (HSP). Jess provides psychoeducation and experiential therapies, including working with non-ordinary states of consciousness through music, to support clients in exploring new perspectives around old issues and tenacious patterns. Jess brings curiosity, compassion, zest, and unconditional acceptance to her work helping others find comfort with their authentic selves and nurture deeper connections with Nature. She welcomes LGBTQIA+ clients.


Joe Klein
Founder & Executive Director,
Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC)
Joe Klein, LPC, is founder and Executive Director of Be Well Now and a lead teacher for Instill Mindfulness & Inward Bound Mindfulness. Joe created and ran a mindfulness-based addiction treatment program called Recovery Dojo from 2016-2024. In the Dojo, Joe supported a diverse range of clients to address addiction, trauma, depression and anxiety and other complex mental health issues. He began practicing meditation in 2001 and is a co-founder of Inward Bound Mindfulness and Springhouse Community School. Since 2010, Joe has been teaching a graduate course at Radford University and leading retreats and workshops on mindfulness practice for college students and helping professionals. Joe brings playfulness, Earth connection and whole person engagement to his ways of teaching and embodying mindfulness practice.

Mary Hansen, D.O.
Medical Director
Dr. Mary Hansen is an Internal Medicine physician with a strong background in treating mental health conditions, and a deep commitment to providing individualized care. After graduating from the Edward Via Virginia
College of Osteopathic Medicine (VCOM), she served as an active-dutyphysician in the U.S. Navy. She worked in numerous inpatient and outpatient settings while on active duty where she observed that interdisciplinary and integrative settingsprovide the best care. At the conclusion of her active duty service, Dr. Hansen moved back to South West Virginia to provide primary care services to the community that became home to her as a medical student.
Her interest in Ketamine Assisted Psychotherapy (KAP) began as shesearched for better tools to help individuals affected by trauma. Themedical evidence that KAP can provide relief from severe mental health conditions motivated her to get involved. She is resolute infollowing bestpractices for patient evaluation, intake and risk mitigation. She takes great joy in creating a nurturing and supportive clinical environment where patients feel comfortable and respected.



Valerie Stanton
Office Administrator
Valerie Stanton is the office administrator at Be Well Now, where she skillfully manages the daily flow of the office, assists clients with any concerns, and plays a key role in planning and managing retreats. With over 15 years of experience in the customer service industry and more than 5 years in office administration, Valerie also brings over 4 years of expertise in social media management. She is a dedicated Reiki practitioner and yoga teacher, deeply passionate about the power of holistic healing.
